I cancelled but am still being charged
In Billing → Manage billing (Stripe portal), confirm your plan shows as cancelled and review invoices. If a charge still looks wrong, use the Contact page.
If you see a charge after cancelling, there are a few common explanations. Here is how to check.
1. Confirm the cancellation went through
Open /app/billing and click Manage billing to open the Stripe customer portal. A cancelled plan shows that it will end on a specific date. If it still shows an upcoming renewal, the cancellation was not completed. Cancel again and confirm.
2. Check the date of the charge
Cancelling stops future renewals but does not undo a payment made before you cancelled. Compare the charge date with the date you cancelled, and download the invoice from Billing → Manage billing (the Stripe customer portal) to see which period it covers.
If you switched plans before cancelling, note that a plan switch is prorated and charged immediately, so it can appear as a separate charge.
3. Check for another account
If you signed up more than once with a different email address, another subscription may still be active. Sign in with each account and check its Billing page.
